White Bamboo Private Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the personal data of students, parents/guardians, staff, and other individuals (“you”, “your”) in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and the Personal Data Protection Commission’s (PDPC) Advisory Guidelines for the Education Sector.
白竹教育（“本机构”、“我们”或“我方”）致力于依据《2012年个人资料保护法》（PDPA）及新加坡个人资料保护委员会（PDPC）教育领域指引，保障学生、家长／监护人、教职员及其他相关个人（以下简称“您”）的个人资料安全与隐私。
2. Scope 适用范围
This Policy applies to all personal data that we collect, use, disclose and/or process in our possession or under our control, including information about students, parents/guardians, staff, applicants, and third parties.
本政策适用于我们所收集、使用、披露及／或处理的所有个人资料，包括与学生／受监护人、家长／监护人、员工、申请人及教育相关第三方有关的资料。
3. Definition of Personal Data 个人资料的定义
“Personal data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data or from that data combined with other information to which we have access.
“个人资料”指可单独或与其他信息结合识别个人身份的任何资料，无论其真实性如何，均受本政策及相关法律保护。
4. Collection, Use and Disclosure 资料的收集、使用与披露
We collect, use, or disclose personal data only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances. We will inform you of the purposes for which your data is collected before or as soon as reasonably possible after collection. Purposes include (but are not limited to): student admissions, enrolment, education and training, student welfare and safety, administrative and operational matters, assessments, scholarships, and communication with parents/guardians. We will not use your personal data for other purposes without your consent unless permitted under the PDPA. We may share data with third-party service providers, government agencies, or other authorised bodies for the stated purposes, ensuring they provide comparable data protection standards.

5. Consent 同意
We obtain your consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal data unless exceptions apply under the PDPA. Consent may be express, implied, or deemed, depending on context. We will not engage in direct marketing without your explicit consent.

In the event of a data breach that may result in significant harm, we will assess and, if required, notify affected individuals and/or the PDPC in accordance with PDPA requirements.

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect legal, regulatory, or business changes. The latest version will be published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
